January 21, 2020 – Before tickets go on sale Friday for their North American tour, the Seattle grunge legends released their first single “Dance of the Clairvoyants” last night at midnight. And now that it’s out, take a listen.
The single precedes a tour and the release of their new album “Gigaton.” It will be available on all streaming services including Apple Music and Spotify.
It will be the first new song since Pearl Jam released “Can’t Deny Me” in 2018. Pearl Jam announced Monday January 13th that they will begin their 2020 tour at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on March 18, and this will be their first show in Toronto in four years when they played the ACC on May 10, 2016.

The 16-date tour, which includes four Canadian stops will kick off just over a week before “Gigaton” their first studio album in seven years hits shelves and streaming services on March 27. The last time the Seattle rock legends released a full album was their 2013 Grammy award-winning recording, “Lightning Bolt.”
The album title, “Gigaton” is a unit of mass measurement equivalent to a billion tons, in climatology it is used to estimate the amount of ice that is melting at the poles, an amount that has been dramatically increasing over the past twenty years.

After they kick off their tour in Toronto, Pearl Jam will perform in Ottawa, Quebec City and Hamilton before heading back to the U.S. The North American tour finishes up in Oakland, California. on April 19. They will do it all again in European kicking off that leg of the tour in Frankfurt, Germany on June 23.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m.
