Quebec’s Ice Hotel – Hôtel de Glace wins excellence awards

Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, PQ, December 6th, 2021 – Its activities have yet to begin and Québec Hôtel de Glace (ice hotel) is already getting honoured on the national and local scenes. The Canadian Tourism Awards were unveiled last Wednesday by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), and the organisation recognized Hôtel de Glace’s best practices, with the Air Canada Business Excellence Award (one of the four categories presented).  In addition to winning Air Canada honours, Hôtel de Glace also recently was honoured as Tourist Attraction and Event of the year at Fidéides 2021 presented by the Quebec Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Canadian Tourism Awards

Presented annually by the TIAC, the Canadian Tourism Awards have become the standard of excellence for businesses and organizations in the travel industry, showcasing the nation’s best tourism products, services and experiences.

Hôtel de Glace’s team is very touched and extremely proud of this prestigious recognition.

The Business Excellence Award had as its selection criteria the long-term viability of the company and its strategy, customer satisfaction, commitment to growth, innovation, product development and human resources, and contribution to the tourism industry.  

Event and Tourist Attraction of the year – Fidéides 2021

On October 27, the 38th edition of the Fidéides Gala was presented by the Quebec Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Hôtel de Glace also stood out by winning the honour of Tourist Attraction and Event of the year. Thanks to its great sense of adaptation and its ability to continually renew itself, it goes without saying that the organization is still riding high, even after more than 20 years of activities.

What’s next?

Hôtel de Glace team is already working day and night, as the ice work is already underway over the last few weeks in Valcartier. A public announcement is to be made over the next few weeks, during which the 2022 Hotel new theme will be unveiled to all. Once again, the plan is to wow visitors and offer them a memorable experience.
