Ross Petty’s ‘There’s No Place Like Home For The Holidays’ features Toronto’s Roberta Battaglia

It has been a Toronto Holiday family tradition for over 25 years and without live productions of THE NUTCRACKER, MESSIAH or A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Ross Petty Productions has decided the show must go on. That’s right, if you live in Canada you can watch Ross Petty’s aptly titled There’s No Place Like Home For The Holidays right from the comforts of your own home.

If you and your family have never had the chance to experience Ross Petty’s zany, slapstic Canadian take on pantomime (because the tickets sell out so fast), this year’s virtual edition of There’s No Place Like Home For The Holidays provides the perfect opportunity. Their brand new twistered sequel to THE WIZARD OF OZ, is expected to be as entertaining as ever keeping the audience in stitches and most likely shouting at their viewer screens.

Toronto’s own Roberta Battaglia, a sensational 11-year-old singer who recently won the Golden Buzzer award on the NBC-TV smash hit series AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, lends her amazing voice to our production.

Your favourite stars are back with Dan Chameroy’s “Plumbum” leading the way to silliness. Comic master Eddie Glen returns for his 18th production, along with AJ Bridel, Camille-Eanga Selenge, Alex Wierzbicki…and start practicing your Boos for the wicked Sara-Jeanne Hosie.

Director/choreographer Tracey Flye returns for her 19th year with our family musicals, with Matt Murray writing his third show for the production company.

In partnering with event management firm BIG HQ and their CEO Bram Goldstein to produce HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, Ross Petty Productions is working with KIDS HELP PHONE, supporting Canadian young people who are struggling with mental health during COVID-19.

Tickets for the one-hour performance are available online and the show can can be watched any time Saturday December 19 between 10 am and 9 pm EST and Sunday December 20 between 10 am and 9 pm EST. The price is $35 per household, so the whole family can enjoy in their living rooms.

The best thing is you can watch the show as many times as you like between 10:00am – 9:00pm EST

Streaming There’s No Place Like Home For The Holidays to your TV is recommended. The video will be available by opening a link on the requested date (December 19 or 20) and does not require any additional applications.

This virtual production is open to Canadian Residents only.
