Smoke’s Poutinerie Presents Smoke-A-Palooza 2025: The Loudest, Most Outrageous Fan-Centric Party Toronto Will See All Year
Most brands talk a big game about giving back and showing fans they appreciate them. Smoke’s Poutinerie fires up truckloads of FREE Poutine, turns up the volume on their transistor radio, and invites 20,000 of their “closest friends.”
On Saturday, September 6, Sankofa Square (formerly Yonge-Dundas Square) will explode into 12 straight hours of over-the-top food battles, mind-blowing music, and jaw-dropping performances as Smoke-A-Palooza returns.
“It’s our way of saying THANK YOU to our fans in the most EPIC way we know how, while celebrating all things Poutine and what we stand for, ultimately also pushing us past the $1 million milestone raised for We Care, a charity close to our hearts that sends children with disabilities to fully accessible summer camps,” says Mark Cunningham, President & COO, Smoke’s Poutinerie.
FREE Events from 11 am to 11 pm
The FREE event runs from 11 AM to 11 PM, and promises a jaw-dropping lineup. At the centre of all this madness? The World Poutine Eating Championship (WPEC), the LARGEST and only one of its kind on the planet sanctioned by Major League Eating (MLE). The GOAT of competitive eating, Joey Chestnut, is back to defend his world record of 28 lbs of Poutine in just 10 minutes. Expect the stage to shake, the crowd to roar, and the cheese curds to fly as he goes up against some of the best-ranked eaters in the world, including: #3 Geoffrey Esper, #4 James Webb, #5 and #1 ranked female eater in the world Miki Sudo, #6 Nick Wehry and many more top ranked eaters!
But, you don’t have to be a world-record eater to dominate. Renamed in honour of Ryan Smolkin, Smoke’s Poutinerie’s beloved Chief Entertainment Officer (CEO) & Founder, The Ryan Smolkin Memorial CEO Challenge in support of We Care is back, pitting corporate execs against each other in a 2-minute Poutine face-off – all for the kids! A fleeting moment of fun and friendly competition turns into a lifetime of opportunities for children with disABILITIES.
But this isn’t just about stuffing faces – it’s a full-blown rock ‘n’ gravy spectacle.
