North America’s largest Indian Food Festival TASTE OF INDIA takes place at Nathan Phillips Square this long weekend

TORONTO, July 29, 2022 – This weekend Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square will see the largest gathering of Indian Food enthusiasts in North America, according to one of the event organisers, School of Flavours. The annual Taste of India event presented by Brar’s is happening July 31-August 1 and expects to draw in excess of 10,000 Indian foodies. It is more then just an explosion of Indian cuisine as the festival will also feature enthusiastic Bhangra dance performances, and classical dancing and a DJ in addition to over 50+ vendors / restaurants featuring enjoy hundreds of dishes from all over of India.

Taste of India Toronto is focused on the richness of culture & heritage through Indian art, music, dance, entertainment and of course, cuisine. The event helps to inclusively bridge diverse communities together and to foster socio and economic development of Canadians.

Attendees at Taste of India Toronto can expect to visit with producers, manufacturers, food vendors and restaurants who will showcase their products and chat one on one with patrons.

In addition to classical dances, bhangra, music, traditional singers there will be a live DJ to rock Nathan Phillips Square from 12:00 Noon to 10:00 PM nonstop. Taste of India truly will highlight Toronto’s multiculturalism and attract diverse communities.

75 Artist cultural performances & Indian culinary cuisines will be exhibited to celebrate “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV @ INDIA 75” in association with Consulate General of India in Toronto.

Date & Time: July 31 & August 1 from 12:00 Noon to 10:00 pm.
