TORONTO, July 6, 2023 – The hugely popular Toronto Outdoor Art Fair is back for its 62nd year! The event brings together 150,000 art lovers and enthusiasts who spend over 2 million dollars on art during the Fair. This free public event takes place every July – rain or shine – at Nathan Phillips Square in the heart of downtown Toronto.

As a proud programming partner, Myseum of Toronto will be there with their wildly popular exhibit, 36 Questions That Lead to Loving TO. Find them at the heart of TOAF and look for the giant hearts as Myseum is thrilled to bring 36 Questions That Lead to Loving TO back to life at this pop-up in the heart of Nathan Philips Square.

62nd Toronto Outdoor Art Fair

Meet over 400+ established and emerging artists from across Canada. Whether you wish to wander among art, invest in your first piece, or add to your collection you won’t want to miss TOAF this weekend.

Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (TOAF) is the charitable non-profit organization behind Canada’s largest and longest-running annual contemporary art fair. Established in 1961 to connect Canadian artists directly to the public, TOAF showcases 400+ emerging and established visual artists, including painters, photographers, sculptors and artists working in ceramics, textiles, jewellery and more.

Myseum asks Torontonians to share their experiences

Myseum is challenging the traditional museum format by opening the floor for Torontonians to share their experiences! They invite you to explore the relationship you have with Toronto and each other in our interactive exhibition.

62nd Toronto Outdoor Art Show happens this weekend

You can get deep, have fun, be brutally honest about what you love or hate — and everything in between. This exhibit ignites the spark to fall in love with Toronto for the first time, or all over again.

The Fair itself offers something for everyone: talks, tours, digital studio visits, curated collections, kids workshops, live painting, dance, music, art installations and food and drink experiences.

Even iconic Toronto fashionista Jeanne Beker has put together a curated collection for TOAF. It’s called ‘Fashionable Finds’ and it is featuring artful, statement-making pieces. Check it out below:

For over 60 years, TOAF has been a key part in launching and sustaining the careers of 20,000 Canadian artists by directly connecting them to millions of art lovers, and public and private institutions. TOAF has given over one million dollars in awards, and continues to play an important role in nurturing the City of Toronto’s arts and culture sector while making art an integral part of the lives of Torontonians.
