Toronto Police Community Safety Hub opens at CF Fairview Mall
TORONTO, January 28, 2025 – The grand opening of the new Toronto Police Community Safety Hub was held at CF Fairview Mall on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
At the ribbon cutting, Deputy Chief of Police, Lauren Pogue shared remarks on the benefits of the new safety hub and was joined by Chair of the Toronto Police Service Board, Shelley Caroll.

The installation of the new TPS Community Hub will help crime prevention officers, neighbourhood officers, auxiliary officers, and other police units better educate, inform, and serve the public.
CF Fairview Mall has offered a space for the Hub, which will be open during mall hours and clearly marked as not a police station, but instead will function a direct way for the community to reach out to the police and share their concerns close to home.
The Community Hub will be a place for officers to interact with the community in a non-law enforcement role and build trust. Local residents can stop by the hub to find resources, tips and workshops on crime prevention and safety.
