Ahead of today’s afternoon game the Toronto Blue Jays announce that OF Bradley Zimmer has reported to the team and will be active for today’s game. Tonight the Toronto Raptors tip off against the storied New York Knicks in their final game of the regular season. Toronto is coming off back to back home wins against Houston 117-115 on Friday and their potential first round matchup the Philadelphia 76ers 119-114 Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena. The Raps have been on fire as of late and will either be playing the Sixers or the Celtics in the first round depending on how each team does in their final game of the season.
When the Raptors last played the Knicks back on January 2, Fred VanVleet scored 19 of his season-high 35 points in the third quarter, Pascal Siakam had 20 points and 14 rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors extended their home winning streak against the Knicks to 11 games by beating a depleted New York team 120-105
Toronto (13.4) currently ranks second in the NBA in offensive rebounds. Scottie Barnes has set a new Raptors rookie record with 193 offensive rebounds this season. Chris Bosh (191) held the previous record in the 2003-04 season. Barnes leads the Raptors -and all rookies -in offensive rebounding this year.
