TTC Subway Line 1 closures this weekend and upcoming

Once again there will be no subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and Eglinton stations on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2020 for track work.

Also, Subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and St Clair stations will end at 11 p.m. nightly from Monday, March 9 to Thursday, March 12, 2020 for Automatic Train Control signalling system installation. Subway service will resume at approximately 6 a.m. each following morning.

Shuttle buses will operate. Customers requiring Wheel-Trans should see any TTC customer service employee to request the service.

All stations will remain open for fare sales, access to surface routes and Line 4.

At York Mills Station, the Old York Mills Road entrance will be closed. Customers are advised to use the other station entrances located in the York Mills Centre, Yonge Corporate Centre, and at the corner of Yonge Street and Wilson Avenue. At Lawrence Station, the automatic entrances at Ranleigh Avenue and Bedford Park Avenue will also be closed. Customers are advised to use the entrances at Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue.

Line 1: Sheppard-Yonge to Eglinton single day closure March 14

There will be no subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and Eglinton stations on Saturday, March 14 for maintenance work.

Shuttle buses will operate. Customers requiring Wheel-Trans should see any TTC customer service employee to request the service.

Line 1: Spadina to St Andrew nightly early closures March 16 to 19

Subway service on Line 1 between Spadina and St Andrew stations will end at 11 p.m. nightly from Monday, March 16 to Thursday, March 19, 2020 for maintenance. Subway service will resume at approximately 6 a.m. each following morning.

Shuttle buses will operate. As the Line 1 part of Spadina Station is not yet an accessible station, customers travelling southbound on Line 1 toward Finch Station who require an accessible connection should exit the train at St Clair West Station and see any TTC customer service employee to request Wheel-Trans service.
