Union Winter is back – Here’s what’s happening at Union Station

TORONTO, Dec. 3, 2024 – Once again, Union Station proves to be more than just a connection from A to B. It is also the place to be this winter if you are looking for indoor fun and exciting activities in downtown Toronto. Union Winter presented by TD us back again From their popular retro roller-skating experience to a lineup of music-themed events and performances, there’s every reason to linger at Union this winter! Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening at Union Station in the coming weeks.

Roller Express

Roll out take 2! That’s right, the Roller Express makes a rousing return to Union Station, and we couldn’t be more excited! From November 28 – February 2, show off your skating skills while gleefully gliding through the TD West Carriageway.

All guests must pre-register for the Roller Express. Pre-registration is available for 2-hour timeslots within the hours of operation. 

Programming

Union Beats Skate Nights
Roller skate to the hottest DJs in town on Friday nights from 4:30 – 8:30pm. 

19+ Winter Mixers
Groove at the Roller Express every Saturday from 6:30 – 11:00pm for a fun night of beats and adult bevvies!

Free Skating Lessons
Take free skating lessons Tuesday at 4:30pm and Sundays at 11:30am. 

Roll in the New Year
Roll into 2025 with an exciting New Year’s celebration. Stay tuned for details!

Pre Register

All guests must pre-register for the Roller Express. Pre-registration is available for 2-hour timeslots within the hours of operation.

Steinway Spirio Piano

Dec 4-23, Mon-Sat @ 11:30 AM–2:00 PM and 4:30 PM–6:30 PM

Join Union Station and Steinway for magical musical programming It’s the most wonderful time of the year – for holiday music!

Join us and Steinway throughout December to experience the joy and magic of the Steinway Spirio piano, the world’s finest resolution player piano. It is a masterpiece of artistry and engineering, enabling you to enjoy performances played by great pianists.

Opera Express: Holiday Edition

Celebrate the holidays with Union and the Canadian Opera Company featuring some of the brightest opera talent in the city.

Steinway Young Artists Club

Dec 19 @ 5:30 PM–6:30 PM

Experience the next generation of talent through a student showcase with the Steinway Young Artists Club.

FREE Giveaways and FREE Gift Wrapping Station

Starting December 1, Union Station has a number of free giveaways from their retailers! From 12 Days of Giveaways to a Union Winter Scavenger Hunt, you’re in for a treat this holiday season.

They will also have an exciting gift wrapping station coming to the West Wing, where you can get your gifts wrapped for free! I guess you could call it a station within the station.
