WHAT’S OPEN ON BOXING DAY in the GTA

Before you head out today for Boxing Day excursions here is a general list of what is open and closed around the GTA. Please be advised to check with your shopping destinations if you are looking to return or exchange your goods for different sizes/colours etc. because not all stores are accepting returns or exchanges today.

WHAT’S OPEN On Boxing Day in the GTA

Most malls, power centres and retail outlets

Most major tourist attractions in Toronto will be open, including the CN Tower, the ROM, the AGO and the Toronto Zoo.

Movie theatres

Some restaurants and most coffee shops

Select LCBO stores (a fair number of them are open but visit their website to learn which ones) and The Beer Store locations will be open.

Most grocery stores will be open with Holiday hours.

All TTC subway, streetcar and bus routes will operate on a holiday schedule. 
Subway service will begin at 6 a.m.

GO Transit service will operate on a Saturday schedule.

Most of the city’s outdoor skating rinks, including Nathan Phillips Square, will be open throughout the holidays.

Toronto public libraries
