Canada eases border measures – will drop pre-arrival COVID-19 testing on April 1

Federal government announce updates to Canada’s border measures that were set in place to protect the health of Canadians due to COVID-19. Vaccinated travellers will no longer be required to have a negative COVID-19 test to come to Canada as of April 1. WATCH here!

Canada announces the lifting of COVID-19 testing requirements for fully vaccinated travellers. Fully vaccinated remains at two vaccines.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom announced plans not only to drop all remaining COVID-19 travel rules including testing and its vaccine requirement for travellers. The removal of restrictions goes into effect on Friday (Good Friday). And at this point, the United States and Australia still require a negative COVID-19 test to enter their respective countries.
