Coming to Toronto: A Stomach Grumble-Activated Vending Machine

Forget your wallet this time — for a few days this September at Toronto’s Union Station, a hungry stomach could be all you need to score a free OH HENRY! Candy Bar.

Yes, you heard that right. OH HENRY!® is launching its first-ever Grumble-Activated Vending Machine, a one-of-a-kind experience that challenges Torontonians to unleash their best stomach grumble to activate the machine and receive a complimentary OH HENRY! bar.

Designed for those all-too-familiar moments when hunger strikes at the least convenient time, the machine is popping up in Toronto’s busiest commuter hub. Of course, you need to bring a rumbling tummy, and yes, for sure, like all promos at Union, you can expect a long lineup to try this out, but how cool is this?

Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on each activation date, the Grumble-Activated Vending Machine gives commuters a fun way to break up their journey and discover why OH HENRY! is Canada’s go-to Hunger Bar.

“As Canada’s #1 Hunger Bar, OH HENRY! has long been helping Canadians take on hunger whenever it strikes,” said Sana Goguen, Marketing Director at Hershey Canada. “With our Grumble-Activated Vending Machine, we’re turning those unmistakable stomach grumbles into something memorable and rewarding. It’s a playful reminder that an OH HENRY! is the answer when hunger calls.”
