It’s hard to believe, but it has been 25 years since Jamie Oliver first arrived on the food scene with his first book The Naked Chef. He wrote the book with the sole purpose of inspiring people to get cooking again using his delicious, yet achievable recipes.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary, Jamie Oliver has released his latest book called Simply Jamie: Fast & Simple Food. With 10 million followers on his social media sites (@jamieoliver), not to mention his TV cooking and travel shows, Jamie fans around the globe will gobble up this new book. You can trust his tried-and-tested recipes to make fast and simple but delicious meals in no time.
Simply Jamie features chapters on Midweek Meals, Weekend Wins, One-Pan Dinners, Pantry Love and Delicious Desserts. Just as he did 25 years ago, Jamie wants to inspire people to by-pass the food takeout lines and get back in the kitchen. “Ultimately, I want this book to inspire you to cook,” says Jamie in the book introduction. “I’m here to remind you that you can make cooking work for you.”
