Christmas lights going back up – A clever campaign is growing worldwide to put up, or turn on Christmas lights in order to remind the world that there is still light and hope during this global COVID-19 pandemic.

People around the world are lighting up their houses as an activity to do while self-isolating that will actually shed some light and hope during difficult times.

The idea for this Twitter campaign may seems to have started on March 16 by a fellow called Michael from Colorado, with twitter account @quickbear. He says his mother inspired him saying, “My mom thinks people should start putting up Christmas lights in their windows to remind each other that there is still life & light.”
