Crazy Toronto weather continues with heavy snow: Special Weather Statement Wednesday
TORONTO, ON., February 25, 2020 – After a false sense of security that saw temperatures of 8 and 9 degrees celsius the past few days in Toronto, Environment Canada has issued a SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT for late Tuesday night and well into Wednesday night.
The trusted weather outlet says “Snow is expected to begin near midnight (Tuesday) before becoming heavy Wednesday afternoon. Heavy snow will continue through Wednesday evening before tapering to flurries overnight.

There remains much uncertainty regarding the track of this low, but Environment Canada is predicting that “total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible by Thursday morning.”
Motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions due to low visibilities in heavy snow and quickly accumulating snow.
This snow is the result of yet another Texas Low that will track over Eastern Ontario Wednesday night.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@canada.ca or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
