Fog Advisory in effect for GTA Tuesday night into Wednesday
TORONTO, Tueseday Dec. 10, 2024 10:30 PM EST – Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued another fog advisory for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The advisory warns of near zero visibility in certain areas around the GTA due to dense fog.
ECCC says, “Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring. Locally dense fog is forecast to persist tonight into Wednesday morning before lifting. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.”
Travel expected to be hazardous
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, drivers are advised to slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
