Fog Advisory issued for Toronto and GTHA into Friday morning

TORONTO, ON., Oct. 23, 2020 — Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Toronto, Peel, Hamilton and most of southern and southwestern Ontario, also including York and Durham.

The advisory cautions residents to be aware of locally dense fog tonight.



“Locally dense fog have developed over the region tonight. This fog will continue for most of the night before clearing early Friday morning as brisk southerly winds develop.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions. Watch for updated statements.
