Free Admission to Sugar Shack TO: Get your maple on this spring in the GTA

Tap into some maple syrup sweetness at the fifth annual Sugar Shack TO festival happening March 14th and 15th at Sugar Beach on Toronto’s waterfront. General admission is FREE—sweet!

Presented by Redpath Sugar, this signature event is Toronto’s urban sugar shack experience celebrating everything maple. Sugar Beach will be transformed into a maple wonderland that includes two sugar shacks, ice activities, a Lumberjack Show, performances by Mark Laforme and The Great Canadian Fiddle Show, fire pits and more.

The two sugar shacks will be selling Maple Taffy rolled in snow for $3 per taffy or 2 for $5, plus there are plenty of delicious maple-infused food choices for purchase including Maple Pecan Beavertails, Maple Glazed Donuts, Maple Fried Chicken Tacos and more.

“Redpath is proud to be the presenting partner of this great event for a third year,” says Nancy Gavin, Manager of Brand Development at Redpath in a media release. “From the delicious food to the great live entertainment, we are excited to see Sugar Beach come alive with this sweet celebration.”

Sugar Shack TO 2020 is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday March 14th and Sunday March 15th at Sugar Beach, located at 11 Dockside Drive in the Queen’s Quay area. For more information visit sugarshackto.ca

Ontario Maple Syrup Producers‘ Maple Weekend, April 4 to 5, 2020

Pure, Sweet, Ontario—Maple Weekend shows visitors how Ontario maple products are made, from tree to table, and lets everyone enjoy a taste and buy quality, maple products at the events hosted by the Ontario Maple Syrup Producers’ Association.

Mississauga’s Maple Magic 2020

Mississauga’s Bradley Museum features Maple Magic 2020 in celebration of maple syrup time in Ontario. Mississauga’s favourite maple tradition returns ot the Bradley Museum for March Break with activities daily from Noon to 4 p.m. from Saturday March 14th to Sunday March 22nd.

Learn all about maple syrup at the From Tree to Table Exhibition, take a maple sap tour and sample maple treats in the Bradley House, visit the Petting Zoo and Maple Gift Shop, get creative with activities for all ages and enjoy some tasty pancakes at the Sugar Shack. Tickets (including tax) are $9.25 per adult, $6.25 per child, $7.25 student/senior or $23 per family (max. 5 people and one person must be 16+).
