Full Celebrity Chef lineup announced for Flavours of Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Tourism recently announced a new culinary festival, “Flavours of Niagara Falls” this winter, taking place from January 13 to February 16, 2024 (extended). The month-long celebration of culinary excellence will showcase Niagara Falls’ rich and diverse culinary scene, featuring renowned celebrity Chefs, exclusive dinners, and prix fixe menus at 25 of our local restaurants.

Celebrity Chef Chuck Hughes to Launch Guest Chef Dinner Series

Renowned Montreal-based Chef Chuck Hughes, owner of Garde Manger and host of various television cooking and food-related shows, will kick off our Guest Chef series. Partnering with leaders in the culinary field here in Niagara Falls, our Celebrity Guest Chefs are setting the table for an unforgettable night that will dazzle your senses. Chef Hughes, known for his innovative approach to cuisine, will set the stage for an unforgettable gastronomic experience by partnering with Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery.

Chef Massimo Capra 

Experience the artistry of celebrated Chef Massimo Capra, as he presents a thoughtfully curated 5-course menu celebrating the renowned Icewine producers of Niagara. With breathtaking views of Niagara Falls as the backdrop, Chef Massimo delicately crafts this liquid gold into an exquisite menu, that promises to captivate discerning palates.

February 2nd 6:30 p.m. Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel

Chef Matt Dean Pettit

As seen on national TV programs such as Cityline and The Social and best-selling author of “The Great Lobster Cookbook”, Chef Matt Dean Pettit is bringing his love of cooking and exuberant energy and passion to Watermark Fallsview Dining.  Get ready for a night of amazing views and delightful dishes.

Chef Bob Blumer

TV personality, author, adrenaline addict and world record holder Chef Bob Blumer brings his tales from the road and adventures and shares his culinary delights with guests as he teams up with the crew at Flour Mill Scratch Kitchen.

Chef Roger Mooking 

As a chef, restaurateur, television host, author, and award-winning recording artist Roger Mooking has earned an international reputation as a multi-media artist and entertainer who creates experiences showcasing a globally inspired vision that reflects his rich family heritage, love for people and travel. Chef Mooking is teaming up with Niagara Brewing Company to bring his twist on refined casual cuisine.

February 16th 6 p.m. Niagara Brewing Company

Prix Fixe Menus Throughout Niagara Falls 

25 esteemed local restaurants will offer a masterfully curated Prix Fixe menu, including AG Inspired Cuisine, Prime Steakhouse, Table Rock House Restaurant, Carpaccio’s Ristorante & Bar, The Blind Pig Wind Japanese & Thai, and many more. Each establishment will craft a dining experience within the pricing options between $54 to $99 per person.

Showcasing Local Products and Wines

“Flavours of Niagara Falls” aims to highlight Niagara Falls’ abundance of local products, incorporating them into delectable dishes. The event will also spotlight the world-class wines produced in the area, encouraging guests to savor the distinct flavors of Niagara.

The culinary festivities kick off on January 13th to coincide with the Niagara Icewine Festival “Cool as Ice” Gala, an enchanting evening at the Niagara Parks Power Station & Tunnel sponsored in part by Niagara Falls Tourism. In collaboration with the Niagara Icewine Festival, the Cool as Ice Gala officially launches the “Flavours of Niagara Falls” culinary events.

Niagara Falls Tourism invites culinary enthusiasts and food connoisseurs to embark on a flavourful journey at the “Flavours of Niagara Falls” event, celebrating the best in local cuisine, renowned Chefs, and the region’s exquisite wines.

TRAIN 

• GO Transit

o  Save with GO / WEGO combo tickets starting at $25/person 

o  Kids 12 and under ride free on all GO Trains; children 3-12 pay $8 for the Niagara transportation portion 

o  $62.50/group including tax (up to 5 people, max 2 adults 18+ per group). 

o  Tickets include round-trip GO Train ride from Union Station to Niagara Falls and Niagara WEGO shuttle bus service throughout the Falls.

BUS 

• Megabus – Union Station to Niagara Falls $20 each way approximately

• Flixbus – Union Station to Niagara Falls $20 each way approximately

CAR 

• Niagara Air Bus – private shuttle approximately $220 from Pearson or $250 from Union Station
