TORONTO, July 27, 2022 – In celebration of the 55th anniversary of the parade, the Toronto Caribbean Carnival is featuring a number of festive events over the weekend including the world-famous King & Queen Showcase, OSA Pan-Alive and of Grand Parade.

Celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Grande Parade which was first gifted to Canada by the Caribbean Community during Canada’s centennial celebrations, the Toronto Caribbean Carnival is a spectacular display of costumes, music, and culture. happening this weekend July 28 – 30.

OSA PAN-ALIVE SHOWCASE

GRAND PARADE

Saturday, July 30, 2022
Lakeshore Blvd W. &Exhibition Place Grounds
115 Princes’ Blvd

The world-famous Grand Parade returns with an explosion of Caribbean music and cultural expression. Starting at Princes Boulevard, (12) Costume Bands will head through the Ex-Grounds onto Lakeshore Blvd. This year, the Grand Parade Route is 5 KM long with (3) special activation Zones – Marilyn Bell Park, Grand Parade Central, located at Hotel X, and Centennial Park. Most of the parade is held on Lakeshore Boulevard which is free but nightlife tickets are not. Tickets for nightlife events are available in Here. Limited quantities available.

Stock up on your sunscreen, grab your favourite sunhat, and dig out those colourful fashions cause Toronto is going to get incredibly festive this weekend! Be safe out there and if you are driving into downtown (not advised) please do so with a great deal of patience, kindness and consideration.
