TORONTO, May 14, 2025 – Today, Wednesday, May 14 Mayor Olivia Chow, Councillor Chris Moise (Toronto Centre) and City of Toronto staff were on hand for the grand reopening of the historic Palm House within the conservatory of Allan Gardens.
Located in Cabbagetown at 160 Gerrard St. E. the beautiful Palm House, built in 1860, was closed in 2022 to complete a multi-year restoration project to preserve and protect the structure’s architectural heritage fabric, while conserving the cultural heritage value and heritage attributes of the building for future generations to enjoy.
