Celebrating its eighth year, Toronto’s must-attend event, Legends of Horror opens September 29th and runs until October 31st at Casa Loma.

Welcome to my nightmare – what is Legends of Horror

Legends of Horror is a theatrical interpretation of classic horror characters, themes and décor known as promenadetheatre where guests wander at their own pace through an interactive set as the sun sets, and autumnal moon rises. With thrills and chills at each turn, dramatic lighting, 3D imagery projections and animatronics, guests begin the 2 km outdoor walking trail in the lower gardens of the property and wind their way through to Sir Henry Pellatt’s rat-infested, dimly lit tunnels under the street. Next, the castle’s historic – allegedly, haunted – Stables, the freaky and fantastical home of Dr. Frankenstein, where his cast of ghoulish characters await.

Exit light, enter night…

Liberty Group is thrilled to announce the gala premiere, one night only, appearance of Toronto’s rock & roll darlings, the Cold Weather Captains performing live onstage in the castle’s Glass Pavilion — aka the Captain Morgan Bar and Lounge — where opening night VIP guests may recharge with themed bar & beverage options. With unparalleled views of the creepy castle projections, the Captains will undoubtedly maximize the ultimate horror experience, to kick off the festivities. The Lounge is open throughout the remaining calendar program — for all patrons — offering the scariest and spookiest of refreshments, to chill and quiet the soul on their journey.

Tickets for both Legends of Horror and Zombie Apocalypse experiences are now on sale at www.casaloma.ca
