Mississauga’s Creative Craft Beer Festival takes flight again this June with new vendors – tickets selling fast

MISSISSAUGA, Tuesday May 9, 2023 — Mississauga’s very own Creative Craft Beer Festival will return June 16th and 17th, 2023 with over 20 independent Ontario-based craft breweries, cideries, and local festival food vendors. Like last year, the Festival offers three sessions (and they sell out fast), live music, and large format games. Located just 20 minutes from downtown Toronto on the border of Etobicoke and Mississauga, the Creative Craft Beer Festival is idyllically set at a remarkable heritage site, the Small Arms Inspection Building.

At the Creative Craft Beer Festival, beer enthusiasts will be taken on the ultimate journey of craft beer and food discovery, exploring delicious festival brews and one-of-a-kind drinks, complemented perfectly by the very best in locally sourced food. There will be something for everyone!

Locally brewed beer can now be sold at Ontario farmers' markets

Last year’s Festival was a huge success featuring craft beer vendors like Beau’s All Natural Brewing Co., Black Lab, Brock St., Common Good, Shacklands, Stonehooker, South River, Thornbury, Partake, and more. 

So far, this year’s Festival will be featuring another variety of Ontario craft beer vendors, including Couchiching Craft Brewing Co.Eastbound Brewing Co.Nickel Brook Brewing Co.Old Credit Brewing Co.Old Flame Brewing Co.Red Tape BreweryStonehooker Brewing Co., and more!

The Festival features indoor and outdoor mixed seating, and admission price includes a souvenir sampling glass as well as two complimentary sample tokens, with additional tokens available for purchase at the event. Tickets will be available for purchase online or at the door.

Two evening sessions will run from 6pm-11pm Friday, June 16th and Saturday, June 17th. A day session will run from 12pm-5pm on June 17th.

There are 3 individual sessions to choose from. Times are as follows:

  • Friday, June 16th, 6pm-11pm
  • Saturday, June 17th, 12pm-5pm
  • Saturday, June 17th, 6pm-11pm

Ticket Prices:

  • Early bird tickets available for purchase online April 26 -June 10 $20
  • Regular priced tickets available for purchase online June 11 – June 17 $22
  • At the door tickets available for purchase on the date of the event $25

The Small Arms Inspection Building is located at 1352 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, only a 20-minute drive from Toronto’s downtown core, or a 12-minute walk from the Long Branch Go Station.

“The 2nd Creative Craft Beer Festival is around the corner, and as Mississauga’s first and only craft beer festival, we couldn’t be more excited for its arrival. You can expect a fun atmosphere with your favourite local breweries, inclusive food options, live music, and activities throughout the day,” says Shannon Baldwin, one of the event organizers. “We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone in June, cheers!” 

The Mississauga Creative Craft Beer Festival is organized by CreativeHub 1352, a non-profit, charitable, community-driven organization that brings creative people together and strengthens community cultural development. Through our collaboration with the City of Mississauga, we are a key stakeholder in the adaptive re-use and programing of the Small Arms Inspection Building as a community creative hub. 

The Mississauga Creative Craft Beer Festival is proudly endorsed by the Ontario Craft Brewers Association. 

Admission price includes a souvenir sampling glass as well as two complimentary sample tokens each good for a 4oz sample size or food offering. Additional tokens for food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event.
