Creative Craft Beer Festival will feature 15+ craft breweries and cideries, local food vendors, and live entertainment

MISSISSAUGA, ON — Mississauga’s long-awaited Creative Craft Beer Festival has been scheduled for June 17th and 18th, 2022. Organized by CreativeHub 1352, the Festival will feature 15+ craft breweries and cideries, the very best in local food offerings, and live entertainment. The Festival will deliver three jam-packed sessions set against the unique backdrop of the Small Arms Inspection Building, a restored heritage treasure in the GTA.

Thanks to the pandemic, Mississauga’s first beer festival has now been years in the making. That’s right, originally scheduled for 2020, the resilient team at CreativeHub 1352 has continued planning over the last 18 months, and were determined to host this event as soon as it was safe to do so.

The festival taking place at the CreativeHub at the Small Arms Inspection Building located at the base of Dixie Road at Lakeshore will feature two evening sessions and one afternoon session. Each evening session will run from 6pm-11pm Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 18th. An afternoon session will run from 12pm-5pm on June 18th.

Locally brewed beer can now be sold at Ontario farmers' markets

This unique, open-concept space will be set up with indoor and outdoor mixed seating and large-format games to enhance patrons’ experience. Admission price includes a souvenir sampling glass as well as two complimentary sample tokens, and additional tokens for food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event.

“We’ve selected some of the finest brewers in southern Ontario, and each beer has a unique story,” said Becky Seath, one of the even organizers.

At the Creative Craft, festival goers will be taken on the ultimate journey of craft beer and food discovery, exploring delicious festival brews, ciders, and one-of-a-kind drinks, complimented perfectly by the very best in local street food. The exceptional food and drink offerings will definitely be the hero of the Festival! From small batch, speciality brews to draft favourites and ales, there will be something for everyone. For those not so keen on beer, there will be a selection of ciders, alcohol-free beverages, and more.

“This is Mississauga’s first craft beer festival, which makes it that much more special,” said Seath. “You can expect a wide variety of your favourite breweries, food options, live music, and activities throughout the day. We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone in June, cheers!” beamed Seath.
