Single day subway closure Eglinton to Bloor-Yonge Sunday, April 19

TORONTO, ON. APRIL 18, 2020 –– For those who need to do essential things and venture out on in Toronto on Sunday (April 19), keep in mind there will be a subway closure on one of the city’s busiest sections, Line 1 between Eglinton and Bloor-Yonge.

There will be no subway service on Line 1 between Eglinton and Bloor-Yonge stations Sunday, in order to facilitate Automatic Train Control signal system installation and testing.

The TTC says that shuttle buses will operate in order to transport customers between the stations. For those requiring Wheel-Trans you are advised to see any TTC customer service employee to request the service.

Summerhill Station will be closed.  All other stations will remain open for PRESTO fare purchases and access to surface routes and Line 2.
