TORONTO, ON, January 26, 2022 – Rising Country singer-songwriter Conner Smith will make his TODAY Show debut on Thursday (1/27) on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna performing “Learn From It” from latest release, DIDN’T GO TOO FAR available now via The Valory Music Co. Listen to full collection here: https://ConnerSmith.lnk.to/DGTFPR.

Produced by Zach Crowell, Smith co-wrote four of the six tracks as well as serving as the only writer on opening track “College Town,” amplifying his songwriting prowess throughout.

Born to write songs, Cononr Smith grew up watching his mother interview musicians and was transfixed listening to stories of where those hooks came from. At just six-years-old he too was writing and signed to BMI at age nine with original material before collaborating with award-winning songwriters Ashley Gorley and Crowell while still in high school. Spending his teenage years as a student in the morning and a working songwriter in the afternoon, Smith is bringing his wide-eyed childhood dream full circle.

I was raised on country music and country radio. then when we moved to Nashville when I was like five my Mom started working as a reporter around country music and getting that sort of outside look into country music and just being around songwriting, being around people who were doing it professionally, so I learned how to craft a song,” said Connor.

“‘Learn from It’ is a fun upbeat song that is just about the stupid things you do growing up. I could tell you a memory to every line in the song,” said Connor.

The Nashville native continues to feed his growing fan base with new music as he is named to prestigious lists such as Spotify’s Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2022, Amazon Music’s 2022 Amazon Artist To Watch as well as Artists To Watch 2022: The Pandora Ten list.

Smith is the only Country act named to the prestigious Pandora all-genre accolade as momentum builds as he is currently on the road with Ryan Hurd and it was just announced he will join Thomas Rhett’s BRING THE BAR TO YOU TOUR this summer. He has previously performed alongside some of the genre’s other top acts including Kane Brown and Sam Hunt. For more information and dates visit ConnerSmithMusic.com.
