Sting adds 5th and Final ‘STING 3.0’ show in Toronto on September 22
Sting has announced there will be a fifth and final additional show on the STING 3.0 tour in Toronto. There will be Sting.com club presale starting April 8 commencing at 1pm. An AMEX presale will commence on Tuesday 9 April at 10am, a Live Nation presale will commence on Thursday 11 April at 10am with tickets going on general sale on Friday 12 April at 10am (all times are local).
The “STING 3.0” Tour kicks off at the Fillmore in Detroit, MI on September 17th followed by a special series of shows scheduled across North America with the full itinerary listed below.
With the other four Toronto shows being virtually sold out a fifth has been added right in the middle of the megastar’s Toronto concert dates. So now Sting will be in town from Friday September 20 to Wednesday September 25, playing every night except on the Sunday and Monday.
Sting and Toronto
Sting has had a very long history with Toronto dating back to his days with The Police in the late ’70s at clubs like the Horseshoe and the Edge, and of course Boomers and Gen X’ers will remember the Police Picnic mega concerts at Exhibition stadium in 1982 and 1983 as well as at The Grove in Oakville in 1981. Aside from making stops here on virtually every single tour he has ever had, Sting also had an extended stay in Toronto, performing in his musical The Last Ship from Feb. 9, 2019 to March 24, 2019.

With virtuoso guitarist and longtime collaborator, Dominic Miller, and dynamic drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), fans will have an additional opportunity to see Sting perform the most electrifying hits from his timeless discography for multiple-night stints in some of the most legendary theatres across North America.
Members of Sting’s Fan Club will have the opportunity to access a special pre-sale for the newly added dates by visiting sting.com, starting Monday, March 25. Additional presales including Citi and American Express (details below) will run throughout the week. The general on sale will begin Thursday, March 28 at 10am local time on sting.com.
