The Grinch’s Grotto has just opened in Mississauga

There is no doubt with COVID numbers soaring in the Toronto area, this 2020 Holiday Season belongs to the Grinch. From the creators of The Dr. Seuss Experience, step into Toronto’s Grinch’s Grotto, and commemorate the Grinchiest of years with our favourite green resident just north of Whoville.

Located at Square One in Mississauga, when you reserve your spot, you and your loved ones will get a rare opportunity to visit the Grinch in his special Grinchy cave and strike an Instagrammable pose (or two) with him.

Yes, that’s right — instead of a traditional photo with Santa this COVID year, why not channel your grumpy self by getting your photo taken with the biggest Christmas grump outside of Scrooge. There will be a backlit Who-ville fireplace, and of course a Grinchy burlap sack of presents along with a ‘Seussified’ Christmas tree.

Guests will also be able to choose a sign with a fitting 2020 pandemic slogan for their Grinch selfie. Some of the grumpy slogans include, “You’re a mean one, 2020,” “2020: “Stink, Stank, Stunk,” “2020 – How The Grinch stole, well, the whole year.” There are also more optimistic sayings like “The Grinch still can’t steal Christmas!”

This physically distanced experience with scheduled visit times, also will transport guests right inside the classic tale, with all the fun of this iconic Dr. Seuss Christmas tale.

Plus, you won’t leave empty-handed. Each group will emerge with not just a photo taken by a professional photographer, but also with a few extra special Grinchy surprises. Space will be very limited to ensure social distancing, so make sure and reserve your spot early!
