The three unique evenings, sponsored by 102.1 The Edge and Mogo, include supporting performances from B.A. Johnston on June 1st, Darenots on June 2nd (sold out), and Kadeema on June 4th. For anyone unfamiliar with USS, they are composed of vocalist and guitarist Ashley Buchholz (aka Ash Boo-Schultz) and turntablist/hype man Jason “Human Kebab” Parsons. The Toronto band combines grunge-like guitar riffs with a mixture of drum and bass beats.

JUNO nominated (Best New Group) with a certified Platinum single “This Is The Best” and certified Gold single “Yin Yang,” USS has spent their time on stage defying the odds and celebrating some of the biggest accomplishments a band can achieve.

USS are 8-time award winners (4x CASBY Award Winners, 2x COCA Awards Winners, 2x INDIE Award Winners). Add to that they’ve toured 12 countries, earned ten Top 10 singles, secured a CIMA Certified Road Gold certification and celebrated a 2021 induction into the COCA Hall of Fame and it’s easy to understand the palpable excitement surrounding the announcement of their upcoming tour dates.

Back in their hometown for these three engagements to start June at the legendary El Mocambo (Located on Spadina just south of College), USS will surely be a great night.
