Toronto Maple Leafs to hold annual outdoor practice weekend at Nathan Phillip’s Square (2023)

TORONTO, February 7, 2023 – Toronto Maple Leafs fans will be able to see their beloved team up close once again in downtown Toronto this weekend Feb. 11-12. Cheer on your favourite Toronto Maple Leafs as they take to the ice at one of Toronto’s most iconic outdoor rinks and spend the weekend celebrating the game of hockey at all levels.

There are a number of Maple Leafs themed interactive activities taking place all weekend long in Nathan Phillips Square culminating in the outdoor practice on Sunday from 12: pm to 1:00 pm presented by SportChek.

Before the Maple Leafs hit the ice at city hall there will be a Professional Women’s Hockey Players’ Association skills competition featuring U.S. and Canadian Olympians.

Fans can also enjoy food, beverage and merchandise stations that will be set up in the Nathan Phillips square throughout most of the two days.

Activation Alley

Visit a variety of pop-ups throughout the day and enjoy food, beverage and merchandise stations. Meet some of your favourite Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni during the scheduled autograph signings following the Mascot Games.

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Carlton’s Party in the Square

Join Carlton and his friends as they take over the square for a special Mascot Broomball Game. Open skate, meet and greet & photo-op opportunities will be available post-game.

Come down to Nathan Phillips Square and enjoy an evening skate while tuning into Maple Leafs vs. Blue Jackets game on the big screen
