WineOnline, Canada’s premier online wine store, is launching a series of free, online wine tasting events hosted by Head Sommelier Samuel Fritz-Tate, one of Toronto’s most popular sommeliers. The first wine tasting event will be held on June 6 at 3 p.m. via Zoom and will feature Leaning Post Winery in Niagara and winemaker Ilya Senchuk.

WineOnline has a portfolio of over 300 wines from over 170 wineries around the world.
“We are excited to be launching our online programming,” says Jonny Bick, Co-Founder of

WineOnline. “We wanted to partner with a local winery to create an at-home experience for wine lovers so they can learn and explore the world of wine.”

In advance of the tasting event, WineOnline is offering a mixed case of 12 bottles of Leaning Post wines (not available at the LCBO) with three bottles each of four wines: 2018 Rose VQA Niagara Peninsula, 2018 Sauvignon Blanc VQA Niagara Peninsula, 2016 Pinot Noir Niagara Peninsula and 2017 Cuvee Winona VQA Niagara Peninsula. The mixed case costs $306 and includes free, contactless delivery within 1-2 weeks anywhere in Ontario.

WineOnline has been delivering quality wines across Ontario since 2004 at wineonline.ca. The innovative company has also collaborated with Canada’s top restaurants to host some of Toronto’s finest wine events.

“With 15 years of wine tastings and winemakers from all over the world, we have developed a knack for finding great value at every price point,” says Samuel Fritz-Tate, Sommelier and Senior VP of Sales WineOnline. “This dedication means whether you spend $15 or $150 a bottle, you can rest assured you are getting the best value for your purchase.”

Each year Jonny Bick (who lived in Spain and Italy for over 15 years) and Samuel Fritz-Tate (who trained in Europe) spend several months sourcing the world for incredible new wines. At their home base in Toronto, the WineOnline team is on hand to help clients find the perfect wine for any occasion starting at $11.98 per bottle, sold in cases of 12 and sometimes six. For serious wine collectors, WineOnline represents some of the world’s greatest estates including Chateau Rayas, Stephane Ogier and others.

You can also order beer as the WineOnline portfolio features 13 renowned local breweries including Henderson Brewing, Junction Craft Brewing, and Innocente Brewing Company. Wineonline.ca
