CampTO will run for nine weeks for Toronto children and youth between the ages of four and 16, at locations across the city

TORONTO, April 12, 2022 – City-wide registration for City of Toronto’s CampTO programs opened today Tuesday, April 12 at 7 a.m. and thousands have already signed up! CampTO programs will be offered in neighbourhoods across Toronto beginning Monday, July 4 and will run until Friday, September 2.

CampTO will run for nine weeks for children and youth between the ages of four and 16, at locations across the city. The City of Toronto will offer traditional day camp experiences, including active games, dance, drama, music, arts and crafts, in addition to indoor, outdoor and nature-based activities.

Adapted and inclusive programs for participants with disabilities will also be available. The City will also offer CampTO Plus, in-person specialty camps at community centres and museums, which focus on a particular interest or skill such as arts, creative writing, a variety of sports, nature, drama, dance, science, French immersion and more. Counsellor-In-Training (CIT) programs will resume this year providing participants between 13 and 17 years an introduction to the fundamentals of being a City Camp Counsellor. Participants will learn about program planning and working with campers in an interactive environment and experience a supervised practical placement in a City summer camp.
