TORONTO, May 6, 2025 – You know summer is almost here when the TTC increases its service to outdoor attractions! Starting Sun., May 11, the TTC’s highly anticipated 200-series seasonal bus routes are back in service, offering convenient and reliable transit to some of Toronto’s most popular parks and attractions.
White and pink branding
Customers can easily spot the seasonal routes by the distinctive white and pink branding on maps, station signage, and stop poles. This ensures that riders can quickly and confidently locate the buses that will take them to warm weather destinations across the city.

200 Toronto Zoo service
Among the highlights of the 200-series routes is the dedicated 200 Toronto Zoo service, connecting customers to and from Rouge Hill GO Station and the Toronto Zoo via Port Union Rd. and Sheppard Ave. E. In addition to the 200 Toronto Zoo service, the 201 Bluffer’s Park and 202 Cherry Beach routes are also back in service from Sunday, offering convenient transit to the popular east-side beaches.

201 Bluffer’s Park route
The 201 Bluffer’s Park route is a weekend service, running every 15 minutes between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., between Kennedy Station and Bluffer’s Park.

202 Cherry Beach route
Seasonal service on the 202 Cherry Beach route will be restored to accommodate increased travel demand to Cherry Beach, the Waterfront, and event venues in the Port Lands during summer months. 202 Cherry Beach buses will operate every 30 minutes on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., and every 20 minutes on weeknights from 7 p.m. until a final departure from Cherry Beach at 10:20 p.m. On weekends, 202 Cherry Beach buses will operate every 20 minutes between 8 a.m. and 1 a.m. In partnership with Toronto Parks and Recreation and Waterfront Toronto, updated destination signs will also improve wayfinding to new parks and other destinations on Ookwemin Minising in the Port Lands.
