If the impending snow storm wasn’t enough, those planning to take the TTC Subway to or from north of St. Clair this weekend will have additional challenges as there will be no subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and St Clair stations.

Shuttle buses will be running throughout the weekend to help passengers help keep passengers close to on schedule.

The subway line between St. Clair and Sheppard-Yonge is being shut down both Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19, 2020 to accommodate Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit construction.

Also, the TTC will use the opportunity to perform maintenance work as well.

The TTC assures that shuttle buses will be operating from all stations except Davisville.

Customers requiring Wheel-Trans should see any TTC employee to request the service.

Davisville Station will be closed. All other stations will be open for the sale of fares and connection to surface routes,” says the TTC.

Also important to note for any riders using York Mills Station the Old York Mills Road entrance will be closed. Customers are advised to use the other station entrances located in the York Mills Centre, Yonge Corporate Centre and at the corner of Yonge Street and Wilson Avenue to purchase fares and connect to surface routes.
