When starting the dusting, always begin at the top and go down gradually. However, fabric blinds should be cleaned using a vacuum cleaner. While you do the vacuum, make sure to keep it on a low setting.
To remove stains, use the minimum amount of water. Also, make sure that you do not rub hard. For rubbing, a tool like a dry or rubber sponge works best when cleaning stains on vertical blinds.
