Winterfolk Blues and Roots Festival back for 2020
If February has you feeling like winter is never going to end, take a musical break to boost your spirits at Toronto’s annual Winterfolk Blues and Roots Music Festival. From Feb. 21-23 this all-ages event takes place on Brunswick Ave, near Spadina and Bloor.
More than 100 artists will be performing the best of jazz, blues, bluegrass, country, folk and roots music at 2 different venues. Both venues, The Tranzac Club and The Annex Hotel are indoors so you and your family can stay warm and cozy while listening to local artists.
The festival is in its 18th year and features many notable performers such as 2017 Canadian Folk Music Award Winner Abigail Lapell and award-winning slide guitar duo Alfie Smith and Nicole Christian.
Winterfolk is a music-lovers paradise and with so many different genres and artists there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy!
