Aerosmith postpones Toronto show and PEACE OUT tour

TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2023 – Aerosmith took to social media today to announce that they are postponing their tour due to vocal cord damage sustained by lead singer, Steven Tyler. The charismatic frontman said his vocal cords are so damaged that they are bleeding.

The Boston rockers are postponing the next month of dates including the Toronto show slated for tonight at Scotiabank Arena, which been rescheduled to February 21, 2023. Shows in Detroit, Washington, Chicago, Raleigh and Cleveland were also postponed.

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve,” said Steven Tyler.
