TORONTO, ON., August 7, 2020 — Yesterday, influential Nova Scotia rapper, Classified released a pensive new single and music video, “Pick Your Poison.” Co-directed by Classified himself, the track and music video examine the vices and addictions inherent in everyday life.

Over the course of his decades-long career, Classified has grown from a Canadian hip-hop mainstay to a worldwide talent with multiple platinum hits. His latest single, “Good News,” offered a much-needed excuse to look on the bright side and was featured by John Krasinsky’s show “Some Good News.” “Good News” peaked at #23 on Canadian Top 40 radio charts and has accumulated more than 3.5 million streams to date.

With “Pick Your Poison,” Classified presents another glimpse at his forthcoming Time EP, due out this year.

With an inherent and candid ability to break down the barrier between performer and audience while “leading the vanguard of East Coast hip hop” (Chronicle Herald), Classified is one of Canada’s most respected and successful rap artists and producers.

Classified has racked up more than 150 million streams globally and has a combined 24 nominations and 8 wins between the Much Music Video Awards, JUNO Awards, and East Coast Music Awards.

His new EP, Time is due out this year.
