TORONTO, June 16, 2017 – It’s finally starting to get warmer in Toronto so the next few days are perfect to attend some fun events happening around the city. From drinking, cars, to concerts, there’s plenty to do for everyone.

1 – Playa Bacardí: Pop Up Island Rum Bar

June 19, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Remember when we reported about the shutdown of Toronto Islands due to flooding? While we are definitely going to be missing out on some island fun, Playa Bacardí: a pop-up cocktail and culinary crawl through the Caribbean, is coming to town to make up for it. Get your island vibe on with mojitos, coconut cocktails, steel drum beats and even sand – without leaving the mainland! The pop up will feature island fare inspired by four Caribbean islands: Cuba, Jamaica, St. Vincent and Trinidad, as well as classic cocktails like the original Bacardí daiquri. Besides authentic island eats and cocktails, the rum bar will also include a steel drum band, DJ Flex of all Trades, latin dancers and a game of island limbo. Each ticket is inclusive of food and drinks. Get ready to get tropical.

Please note: must be 19+ and have valid ID to enter.

2 – TACO Fest

June 16 – 18, tickets have specific entry times

If you’re a fan of tacos and can’t exactly take a trip to Mexico right now for some authentic ones, this is the perfect event for you. Aside from tacos (obviously), there will also be a margarita .+ sangria bar, hot sauce bar and tastings, nacho and salsa samplings, Mexican street corn and churros, authentic mariachi band and live music. Tickets are on sale now.

Please note: must be 19+ and have valid ID to enter.
