Part of Toronto’s newest month-long Holiday festival, from November 22-December 22, this first annual holiday festival allows guests to explore the space and participate in unique hands-on holiday-inspired workshops in the Belgian Moon craft brewery, curated food and wine tastings, along with outstanding winter themed art activations.

During the 27 days of festive programming, be sure to try your luck at a game of ‘Crokicurl.’ Stackt Market has combined one of Canada’s favourite winter pastimes, curling, with the game of Crokinole, which was invented by a Canadian in Perth Ontario.

Essentially, the beautifully lit rink is a about the size of one end of a curling rink, and you have to throw your rocks between the pegs, scoring points in a similar way to curling – and Crokinole for that matter. On Community Day Wednesdays it is free to play, but during the rest of the week there are rental fees for groups to play.

Open Rink Times:

Tuesdays 12PM – 4PM
Wednesdays 12PM – 11PM (community day, sign up for free!)
Thursdays through Sundays 12PM – 9PM

A $40 ticket gives you rink access for 50 minutes for up to 4 teams and 4 pretzels. Check in at the Belgian Moon Brewery when you arrive. For more information about this fun game and how to book a playing time, visit stacktmarket.com

While at the brewery enjoy Belgian Moon craft beer, sign up to learn a Handmade Holidays craft (some fees apply) and enjoy one of Conspiracy‘s artisanal wood-fired pizzas.

There are many interactive events planned including the Good Enough Live Karaoke night on November 30 where you can channel Bono and front live band and there will also be an a Bachata Kizomba Dance Party on November 29 and 30. Consult Stackt Market’s events guide for details about everything happening on each of the 27 days.

Two other things to keep in mind when you are planning to go are the newchoir interactive Singalongs at the brewery on December 7 and 21st, and you can sip and shop (they have some very cool lineup of vendors), drink in hand after 6pm at Stackt throughout the entire Holiday Hills month!

And if you would rather sip wine indoors, visit Casa Campo, Toronto’s first yurt wine bar.

Christmas tree shopping program

From Nov. 22nd through to Dec. 22nd Holiday Hills will be selling fresh cut + potted Christmas trees in the Community Lane. Trees to be returned in January to be given a second life! Open Wed. + Fri. 6pm – 10pm and Sat. + Sun. 2pm – 6pm. Presented by Belgian Moon

The Holiday Hills Market is set to be an exciting addition to the city’s holiday season activities. Find out more about Holiday Hills at www.stacktmarket.com.
