TORONTO, March 24, 2025 – It’s like vintage shopping in Kensington, only times a hundred and with even better deals! The highly-anticipated Toronto Vintage Show returns for its 13th year, taking place from April 5 – 6, 2025 in the Queen Elizabeth Building at Exhibition Place. As Canada’s largest vintage clothing sale, this semi-annual event is a staple for fashion enthusiasts, collectors, and sustainability-minded shoppers looking for unique, high-quality pieces from decades past.

Spanning 50,000 square feet and featuring over 130 selected vendors, the show offers a carefully curated selection of vintage fashion and accessories (including jewellery, sunglasses, handbags and footwear) from a range of eras and styles. Shoppers will find everything from classic business attire to statement cocktail dresses, streetwear to designer fashion, and bohemian garments to bold, one-of-a-kind pieces. Beyond clothing, the event also features vintage décor including barware, glassware, home furnishings and more.

“The Toronto Vintage Show is organized by vintage lovers for vintage lovers—people who appreciate the artistry, craftsmanship, and individuality of fashion from decades past,” says Catherine Knoll, Show Manager. “Sustainability and individuality are becoming more popular – and important – than ever and vintage offers an exciting way to express personal style while embracing environmentally conscious shopping, not to mention supporting local small independent business owners.”

Whether attendees are looking to build a wardrobe with character, find unique home décor, or simply explore a world of timeless style, the Toronto Vintage Show promises an immersive shopping experience that goes beyond trends.

Seven Insider Tips for Shopping the Toronto Vintage Show

  • Give yourself plenty of time to explore! With tens of thousands of items, it’s best to take your time to view all the vendors and enjoy the process of discovering all the treasures of decades past.
  • Know your measurements. Measure your chest, waist and hips. Sizing varies widely from decade to decade so checking the garment’s measurements is the best way to ensure it’s a good fit. Some vendors include garment measurements on the tags but it’s a good idea to bring a measuring tape too.
  •  Wear a thin base layer. There is a communal fitting room, but many long-time shoppers prefer to wear a thin clothing layer to easily try on clothing over top.
  • Shop both days. Vendors restock after the first day, meaning there’s all kinds of new items on day two.
  • Come with an open mind. A good strategy to shop the show is to come with an idea of what you need – whether it’s a cocktail dress, a spring coat, a blazer, etc. But, it’s also equally important to keep an open mind for that special item that speaks to you, especially if it isn’t your usual style.
  •  An imperfect fit can be tailored. If you find something you absolutely love, but the fit isn’t quite right, check the seam allowances to see if it can be tailored.
  • When in doubt, ask. Vendors know their stock inside and out. If you’ve got questions (“what decade is this from?”, “could this be taken in to fit better?”, “how would you style this?”), just ask.
