KISS cancels final Toronto and Ottawa shows due to illness

TORONTO, November 22, 2023 – KISS rock legend lead singer, Paul Stanley has taken to social media to announce he has come down with the flu and this is why the iconic rock band had to cancel Tuesday night’s show in Ottawa, and now they are cancelling Wednesday’s Toronto show, slated to happen tonight at Scotiabank Arena.

“I’ve done everything possible to get onstage and be a part of the incredible 2 1/2 hour celebration we planned but this flu has made it impossible.,” said Paul Stanley. “I along with Gene, Tommy and Eric couldn’t be more disappointed and send our deepest apologies.”

The show will not be rescheduled. This was to be the final show KISS ever played in Toronto and Ottawa and although it won’t be the same but fans who missed out on their final live shows in Canada can watch KISS play their massive final show planned as a pay-per-view event on Dec. 2 from their home town New York City at Madison Square Garden.

What do KISS ticket holders do?

Ticketmaster says they will be issuing a full refund and no action is required on behalf of ticket holders.

“Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund. It will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, once funds are received from the Event Organizer, which is usually completed within 30 days.”

“If the Event Organizer is offering a credit option, it will be visible within the Event Details of your order,
which can be found in your Ticketmaster account.”

Please Note: If the
tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the fan who originally
purchased the tickets from Ticketmaster.
