A Transformative Spring Event

In the heart of Toronto, as spring breathes new life into the world, a transformative event is set to bloom
on April 21st, 2024 at Space on King from 2-6 pm. The Soulful Beauty event, conceived and curated by
Kathryne Mejias, a name synonymous with self-empowerment and holistic wellness, promises an
immersive experience that transcends the conventional understanding of beauty.

Born For More, Kathryne’s coaching brand, has been at the forefront of guiding individuals toward a deeper, more
meaningful connection with their inner selves. Now, with Soulful Beauty, Kathryne Mejias aims to bring
her vision of holistic empowerment and beauty to a vibrant, interactive platform.

Empowerment Through Beauty

“Soulful Beauty is not just an event; it’s a movement towards embracing every aspect of our being,” Kathryne Mejias shares. “We’re celebrating femininity in all its forms, encouraging women to explore and honor both their inner and outer beauty.”

According to an article highlighted by event platform vFairs, attending women empowerment events offers several advantages. These events provide an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and gain inspiration to take action toward promoting women’s empowerment. Such gatherings are often designed to foster a sense of community and shared purpose, which can be incredibly uplifting and empowering for attendees.

Journey and Vision

Kathryne Mejias’ journey from the skies as a flight attendant to the fashion industry, and finally, to the realm of self-development, has given her a unique perspective on beauty and empowerment. Her experiences across the globe, experience in self-development coaching for women, and her deep dives into self-development, have profoundly shaped her approach.

“My experiences have taught me the importance of nurturing our inner world as much as we do our outer selves. Every woman has a spark, a unique inner beauty that, once ignited, can illuminate the darkest of places,” Kathryne reflects on her journey.

A Showcase of Holistic Beauty

Soulful Beauty is meticulously designed to cater to both the ethereal and tangible aspects of beauty. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of vendors offering products and services designed to enhance inner wellness, including oracle cards, crystals, fitness and nutritional products, wellness coaching, yoga and meditation sessions, alongside those promoting outer beauty, such as a medspa, cosmetics, skincare, hair styling, stylish wide face sunglasses, and fashion designers (a bikini line as well as Christopher Bates, who has both men’s and womenswear).

Drinks, Desserts and Vendors

Don’t forget the wine, tequila, and desserts! The event provides the opportunity to gift an experience focused on self-love and personal growth. The vendors also provide plenty of options for Mother’s Day gifts or treating yourself. The event welcomes all; both men and women will attend.

Kathryne Mejias believes in the power of balance between nurturing the soul and cherishing the body. “Taking care of our external selves is a reflection of how we feel about ourselves internally. It’s about harmony and acknowledging that our outer beauty practices can be a reflection of our inner health and happiness,” she explains.

A Day of Celebration and Empowerment

The day will be punctuated with live performances, gift bags, and cocktails, fostering a festive atmosphere where friends can connect and celebrate beauty in its myriad forms. Kathryne’s vision for Soulful Beauty is clear: to create a sanctuary where women can explore, learn, and celebrate themselves in a supportive and empowering environment.

As Kathryne Mejias prepares to welcome attendees to Soulful Beauty, her message resonates with a powerful call to action: “This is an invitation to every woman who has ever looked in the mirror and wondered if there was more to her beauty. Come discover it at Soulful Beauty. It’s your time to shine, from the inside out.”

Soulful Beauty stands as a beacon for those looking to embrace their true selves, offering a space for transformation, celebration, and empowerment. In the bustling city of Toronto, Kathryne Mejias is ready to guide every participant on a journey of self-discovery and unabashed celebration of their innate beauty, marking Soulful Beauty as a must-attend event this spring.

Models

Kathryne Mejias has invited a range of beauty, fashion, and wellness influencers in Toronto, such as models Holly Wolf, Matt Dixon, and Kenzie Klager.

Inspirational Influencer for Soulful Beauty

Notably, Rose Finlay is a remarkable individual who possesses a captivating vision and an unwavering passion for dismantling the pervasive barriers of ableism. Her determination to create a society that provides equal opportunities for women living with physical disabilities is both inspiring and emblematic of her unwavering commitment to inclusivity and diversity. Rose Finlay has spent the last 17 years as a quadriplegic after her neck was broken at the age of 17 years old. Despite this, she is living a full life as a loving mother of three. Kathryne Mejias is proud to have Rose Finlay as an influencer for the Soulful Beauty event.

Empowering Story of Resilience

Another cause that Rose Finlay speaks out about strongly aligns with the Soulful Beauty event’s unique inner and outer beauty concept. Six years ago, Rose Finlay experienced breast implant illness. At the time, she felt breast implants were what she needed to feel better about herself, after losing breast volume from having three babies, and her then-husband cheating on her. Unfortunately, the breast implant illness came about rapidly and left her unrecognizable after a seizure, experiencing symptoms like insomnia, headaches, nausea, brain fog, and extreme weight loss.

Rose shared on her social media “I didn’t want to remove what I spent $10,000 on. That was the last time I will ever put money over my health”, and emphasizes that she learned “The body has a remarkable ability to heal, but the real work was healing my self-worth, leaving my toxic marriage, and rebuilding my confidence. Fun fact – I didn’t start modelling until after having my breast implants removed”.

Spotlight on Local Talents

Roveena Jasaal will also be attending Kathryne Mejias’ Soulful Beauty event. Roveena is a local journalist who enjoys shining a light on people who deserve it. She writes for publications such as the Toronto Star and Now Toronto. She has taken interest in covering the Soulful Beauty event, which aligns with her own self-written book titled Mirror Mirror, which talks about unrealistic beauty standards.

Roveena was invited to not only attend as a VIP, but to talk about her book accompanied by a creative performance which is uplifting and interactive. Roveena will perform her ”You Can Do Anything” creative dance and poetry performance, which includes audience participation in saying that they can “do anything” and are perfect just the way they are. The performance is expected to match the empowering theme for Soulful Beauty, Toronto’s go-to event this year for women to celebrate inner and outer beauty.

Book Signing and Personal Growth

Speaking of books, the Soulful Beauty event host Kathryne Mejias will have a book signing for her self-empowerment book for women titled Born For More, which has helped many of her clients. Kathryne Mejias reveals her tips and tricks though storytelling and guidance in Born For More, helping readers to create more love, passion, and happiness with themselves, all while releasing anxiety, depression, and maximizing self-worth.

The book is a good read for anyone who might feel different than others, those who want to experience more in their lives, and for those who feel stuck or lost and unable to figure out what actions they need to take to move forward. The book is often a go-to for women experiencing doubts or hardships in their careers and/ or relationships, who just want to be happier overall.
