If you’re sad about most of the holiday lights going down soon, don’t be! The Toronto Light Festival is a new light show that will be starting at the end of the month. In an effort to brighten up the dark gloomy winter months after the holiday break, this festival will be filled with thousands of lights.
It is being organized by the people behind the annual Toronto Christmas Market, so you know it will be pretty nicely done. Like the market, the light festival will also take place at the historic Distillery District. The area will be filled with 17 light installations by 14 artists.
The festival will run from January 27 to March 12, from sunset to 11 p.m. Admission will be free.
