Metrolinx understands that closures and service changes are disruptive. Weekend service disruptions are scheduled months in advance to accommodate work to improve and maintain our transit system. They help us build a faster, more reliable and more modern GO network for the future.
These closures provide the crew with the continuous access they need to safely complete major construction that can’t be done overnight.
Customers are encouraged to sign up for On the GO Alerts to receive real time updates about trip schedules, delays or disruptions.
Riders can transfer for free with One Fare between GO Transit and most local agencies, including the TTC. You can also check the GO Transit Service Updates page for real-time details.
