Surging Canadian songstress Devon Cole releases self-love inspired debut EP

Toronto, ON (November 12, 2021) – Up & coming pop songstress Devon Cole just revealed that her self-love inspired debut EP ‘Party For One’ comes out on November 17th. HEr single ‘Nobody’s Baby‘ shares the notion of joy in one’s own company, and is as catchy a surefire hit as they come. The Calgary-raised, Toronto-based singer-songwriter shares a unique blend of genres throughout the seven-song collection including elements of R&B, pop, new disco and more.

Cole’s inspirational lyricism shines across the EP, threaded through each track with messages of independence, empowerment, and worthiness. Listeners are encouraged to embrace ‘singlehood’ and put themselves first, as emphasized in Cole’s upbeat, positive-heartbreak anthem ‘Good On Me’. She shares the importance of communication in budding relationships with ‘High & Dry’, and proves she is ‘Nobody’s Baby’ with the vibrant pop track about enjoying your own company and the beauty in letting go.

Cole also recently debuted the playful and campy official video for ‘Nobody’s Baby’ – watch here.

“This EP is called “Party for One” because that’s what this year has been like for me. Of course I have a humongous amount of support and it took a village to release it, but I did spend a lot of time on my own this year,” said Cole.

“I feel like I’m in a process of finding my autonomy as a young woman and discovering my self-worth – a lot of the songs on the EP speak to that. The songs are upbeat because I want listeners to have fun and be happy when they listen (the world needs a little sunshine). This EP is a sonic representation of my heart, and the first milestone of what will hopefully be a long road in the music biz. It’s always been a massive dream of mine to one day have an EP, ever since I was a youngster, so this is a really exciting moment for me. Probably the most exciting moment I’ve had in my career thus far,” states Cole.
