Toronto has Canada’s first floating art installation… for a limited time
Unique floating art encourages visits from a variety of species and pollinators
TORONTO, August 23, 2022 – Toronto can now boast that it has Canada’s first floating art installation. Located on Lake Ontario by the Harbourfront Centre, until September 5th, the floating art installation – a series of small islands that spell ‘For A Better Planet’ – is not only created using recycled materials, but in order to help promote biodiversity in the area, it features a variety of species and pollinators that are native to Ontario to foster the most bio-dynamic ecosystem possible.
The art installation encourages Canadians to think about the ways in which we can work together to make a difference for the planet through our small, daily choices.
Developed by Bonterra – a new line of sustainably-focused household paper products, the installation is a reminder that together, we can help effect big change in the world.
