Watch Game 5 at Maple Leafs drive-in watch party

TORONTO, ON., August 8, 2020 — MLSE and Live Nation have partnered with OLG to offer Leafs and Raptors fans a drive-in experience to watch playoff games (and live concerts) on Toronto’s Ontario Place grounds.

It may have brought the Leafs luck for last night’s incredible comeback from 3-0 down to the Blue Jackets late in the third, so hopefully it will continue on Sunday night for Game 5.

OLG Place has Toronto’s newest venue for sports and entertainment this summer! Between August and October they are not only hosting fans for Leafs and Raptors Playoffs Games, but also live concerts and special movie screenings.

Drive in, get comfy and enjoy some of the best entertainment Toronto has to offer, says OLG’s statement. Admission to the watch party is $25.00 including tax plus a $2 service charge, which will go toward the MLSE Foundation and will be available on a game-by-game basis.

“Leafs Nation will be able to come together safely to enjoy and experience the excitement of a Leafs playoff game once again at the new drive-in entertainment venue,” says a statement from organisers. “With the city as the backdrop, the event will include special guests, giveaways as well as special programming before the game.”

For each event you’ll park your car in your designated spot and watch the live game from a massive 40-foot screen or live-on-stage for concerts.

Ahead of each Leafs and Raptors playoff game, there will also be a 30-minute pre-game show to get you pumped and award some awesome prizes!

Once you purchase a ticket, you’ll be able to pre-order food and beverages online, along with fan merchandise through Real Sports. And once you arrive at the event, they will deliver your order right to your vehicle.

Each event will comply with all health and safety standards and guidelines per City of Toronto and Province of Ontario regulations in order to protect fans, artists, crews and staff.

Gates open at 6 pm, and pre-game festivities get revved up at 7:30, with the opening face-off following the anthems at 8 pm. Vehicles will be ticketed for a specific lot (the game will be shown in Lot 2), and parking is general admission, so get there early to grab the perfect spot.
